Session 4: VISCERAL RESPONSES: BEYOND HAMMERING HEARTS

One of the biggest challenges for writers is writing emotion in fresh and credible ways. They may be surprised to see that in an emotionally-driven scene, they kept the POV character in their head, intellectualizing about their emotional experience. Learn Margie’s Top Twelve Visceral Rules and you’ll know how to slip in the right amount of visceral emotion to make your scenes emotionally empowering. You’ll learn how to take a scene from the POV character’s head to the reader’s heart.

(Schedule includes a 15-20-minute break between sessions each day)
